Abstract
Mondia whitei (omulondo) is one among the foremost consumed herbs in and around capital of Uganda town, this can be attributed to its several uses like enhancing of cerebral and peripheral blood circulation, treatment for eating disorder, treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, abdomen ailments and impotence, treatment of high blood pressure and plenty of others. Currently, the foundation is processed into alternative product like; mulondo inebriant and mulondo powder. However, the processes (washing and smashing/size reduction) concerned in creating these product are manually done which ends up to grind resulting in low output, poor hygiene and loss of root sap among others. to deal with the challenges, a mulondo bloody machine was designed and made to modify the enlarged output. the development of the example was dead mistreatment chrome steel grade 316 and tested to work out the workability and time variation as compared to native strategies. The machine is intended to be operated by the electrical motor of size 5Hp. The machine gave a most output of 121.8 kg/hr, a size reduction potency of one thousandth and a mean output efficiency seventy eight for mixed roots. This machine ought to meet the requirements of the needs of little or medium scale mulondo enterprises.
